Description

For sale: a 1988 YAMAHA TY 250 Trial in excellent original condition and mechanically sound:
- Type 59N S version: competition-only monoshock model, originally unregistered.
- Matching numbers: frame and engine identification numbers 59N005263
- Purchased new and serviced by BMZ in 2004.
- With original conformity certificate and workshop manual (August 1987).
- Very little used for 15 years, trail riding on tracks, no motorsport use.
- Stored in a sheltered barn.
- Recent overhaul by a mechanic specialised in vintage trial motorcycles; runs perfectly.
- Registered by the FFVE as a classic vehicle in 2018 (see photo), allowing the issue of a Collectors Vehicle Registration Certificate (CIC) with the ANTS.
- After reservation and actual payment of a deposit, the bike will be presented for the technical inspection before sale.
- Supplied with numerous original parts: switch + key, speedometer, light switch, spare headlight and rear light, battery protection covers, spare foot brake lever, frame components for rear mudguard, second exhaust system.
- Approved by the FFM to participate in the French Championship events and the Federal Vintage Trial Trophy in the MONO class (monoshock over 30 years old with air cooling) and in the VINTAGE LEISURE & CRITERIUM categories.
- Eligible from 2026 for an FFM old-timer all-terrain trial licence (MAT 2).
