Description
TRIUMPH Spitfire MK3 delivered on 3/ 09/ 1970 in Royal Blue Overdrive, black interior with white piping, chrome wire wheels. Major recent restoration work:
- Full repaint inside and out: Royal Blue, high-gloss polyurethane direct
- New upholstery: seats, door cards, hood, windscreen surround, dashboard cap ... dashboard and steering wheel revarnished
- Engine rebuilt: crankcase work and upper/ lower engine overhaul by machinist. Bearings, pistons, cylinder head, double timing chain, oil pump, camshaft bearings, balanced crankshaft. Stainless steel exhaust silencer.
- Radiator renewed. Hoses new.
- Gearbox rebuilt: bearings, seals, overdrive, gear selector. Clutch new, master and slave cylinders new. Drive shaft rebuilt.
- Braking fully overhauled: discs, pads, drums, wheel cylinders, hoses. Master cylinder new.
- Electrical system fully redone and cleaned. Battery new. Headlamps new.
- Front suspension fully rebuilt (bushings, gaiters, silentblocks).
- Fuel tank new. Entire fuel system cleaned. Fuel pump new.
- Carbs recently refurbished.
- Wire wheels chrome plated, new butterflies and recent tyres.
