Description
This Mini Cooper Sportspack was registered by Caffyns Rover, Sussex on 28th August 1998 and is presented in rare Nightfire Red with a white roof, over a black leather-trimmed interior. Under the bonnet resides a 1275cc multi-point injection engine producing around 62bhp through a four-speed manual transmission. Features include chequered bonnet stripes (a factory option), a bank of four Rallye-style fog and spot lamps, 13” Sportspack alloy wheels, alloy door furniture, a burr walnut dash and a three-clock binnacle with magnolia-faced dials.
This Mini boasts one owner and 22, 958 miles from new and is an incredibly original and honest example. It served as a daily driver for the first three years before transitioning into classic car life, participating in shows and iconic events such as the London to Brighton run. The car has been garage-stored pretty much its entire life and has spent recurring periods unused, particularly between 2002 and 2015 when the owner twice relocated, and it has only clocked up 900 miles since.
The Mini comes freshly serviced and MOT’d and is supplied with a history file including the original owner’s handbooks and stamped service book.
