Description
1991 Moto Guzzi 1000SE genuine UK bike. This very rare Moto Guzzi has undergone a total professional restoration, and is in, as new condition, costing thousands of pounds, with the majority of parts replaced being genuine new, old stock items. There were very few UK 1000SE models, as Moto Guzzi enthusiasts will know. The Moto Guzzi has covered 43, 670 km (27, 135 miles) which is original, and verified by past MOT test certificates. As well as a current V5C registration document, there is a large documented history file present, and the majority of the new, old stock parts were purchased from Stein Dinse or Gutsibits. The UK 1000SE bikes were all finished in red paintwork, fitted with a small fairing, with no stripes on the petrol tank or side panels. Even though the UK bikes were sold as SE models, their side panel decals were 1000S, the same as fitted to the 1000S unfaired / naked models, whose paintwork replicated the 1970's S3 models. The majority of the 1000S bikes were sold in other countries. As part of the restoration, the Moto Guzzi has had the paintwork changed to black with stripes, and it looks absolutely stunning. The Moto Guzzi with it's 40mm Delorto carbs, and new Lafranconi silencers, not only looks and sounds amazing, but runs beautifully too. The original fairing, airbox and crash bars are present, and included with the sale. Since the restoration, the Moto Guzzi has been MOT'd, (now expired) and has been started up and ran on a regular basis, but hasn't been used. It is currently drained of fuel and stored in a vac bag. The Moto Guzzi is also sold with a private (Guzzi) related registration number.
The Moto Guzzi 1000SE is already considered a classic, and this factory fresh, professionally restored 1000SE, is one for the serious Moto Guzzi collector / investor.
