For sale my beautiful 2004 Ducati 749s Monoposto.
This is a UK supplied bike and is one of the 2004 model year only bikes with higher compression pistons and different cams.
I’ve owned the bike since June 2011, and the previous keeper bought it when it was just over one year old.
Cherished registration S7 SBK, included in the sale.
The bike has had a pampered life, spending most of it’s time under a cover in my garage, but I’ve used it for some great rides to the Alps, and to Normandy a couple of times.
It has been maintained by Neil at Cornerspeed Ducati in Sutton in Ashfield (who is happy to answer questions from interested parties).
Mileage is 21600, so it has just had a full service, belt change, and valve clearance check.
The bike has a full Termignoni titanium/ stainless exhaust system, Ducati Performance Eprom, Ducati Performance gel seat, clear front indicator lenses and various carbon fibre exhaust heat shields and fairing inserts.
I have ALL of the original parts too, many in the boxes the performance parts came in, all in good condition, some of them almost unused, and they are all included in the sale.
Tyres are Metzeler Sportecs, almost new on the front and still lots of life in the rear one.
I’ve got all three keys, including the important red key, and the bike still has it’s tool kit.
Bike will be sold with a full MOT - it is on sorn at the moment.
The MOT history on the DVLA site shows how it has sailed through every time in my ownership (and only one fail before that for a small registration plate).
This is pretty much a collector quality bike, you can buy it to use (which I heartily recommend) or buy it to park in the lounge and look at.
I have lots of paperwork, service record, invoices for parts and servicing, past MOTs, and all of the ‘new bike pack’.
I’ve even got a period Ducati Performance parts catalogue for 749/ 999 - all included in the sale.
Prices of good monoposto 749S and 749R have climbed somewhat in recent years, and I can’t see why that trend won’t continue, so bike like this are surely better than money in the bank - your partner may or may not agree!
