The Appeal
Three decades had passed since Maserati last collaborated with Zagato, yet the Biturbo Spider proved that the Milanese coachbuilder had certainly not forgotten how to design a Maserati. Like all Biturbos, the Zagato Spyder proudly displayed a design characterised by angles and taut lines and yet, in typical Italian style, displayed an undeniable elegance.
Here we have a fine example from 1986 that has clearly been much loved over the years. The car is extremely original throughout and boasts a wealth of documentation that adds value to its history. For collectors looking for a well-preserved, intact example with a well-documented past, this is the ideal Biturbo Spyder.
