The Appeal

If you know your tractors, the Massey Ferguson 135 needs no introduction. Hundreds of thousands were made during its decade-long production run, it was the most popular tractor of its era and vintage examples are still hard at work all over the world to this day. If you really know your tractors, you’ll be aware that we’re delighted to offer the ultra-rare Industrial variant, marketed as the MF 20.
The MF 20 was less likely to spend its life in muddy fields, so it was geared for on-road use and equipped with several small modifications like a conventional foot throttle and speedometer to complement the existing engine hour counter. Among collectors, these are very desirable, firstly for their rarity and secondly, they’re very driveable should you wish to road run them. Unlike those used on farms, MF 20s have generally been kept clean, dry, and the hydraulics are used less frequently, meaning original survivors are out there.
This is just that; an original survivor retaining its yellow Industrial livery. Sympathetically restored prior to current ownership, road registered and offered in full working order, this Massey is ready to go to its next home.
