XJR 1300 - Kenny Roberts Tribute Roadworthiness OK, untouched Overhauled, ready to ride, km slightly evolving, more info on the preparation below, The list of modifications is available on request You can also find a video and more photos on my website Fresh from the Tumulte workshop, this XJR 1300 pays tribute in its own way by sporting a dress in the classic colours of the legendary Yamaha bikes of the 70s ridden by Kenny Roberts. Inspired by the Flat Tracker wave, and in particular by the prototype unveiled by Honda as the CB 1100 TR, this XJR is aggressive, and won't go unnoticed with its yellow colour and cartoon-style Posca paintwork. The preparation features a multitude of details, but the main modifications are to the front fork and the custom aluminium rear shell. The complete front end comes from a KTM Superduke, with its big inverted fork and radial callipers, giving this XJR a new lease of life: better handling, more precision and much more effective braking than the original. The rear body is made entirely from aluminium, with its single-seater seat - these 2 parts took no less than 60 hours to make! Aluminium is also used for the headlamp fairing and the side covers, which proudly display the number 1, worn at the time by three-time world champion Kenny Roberts. The fork protectors and mudguard are printed using the MJF (Multi Jet Fusion) process, which is much more resistant than conventional 3D printing and offers greater flexibility than aluminium.
The front headlight is borrowed from a Husqvarna 701, the rear from a Honda, and for the components (speedo, indicators) Tumulte has placed its trust in Motogadget, which offers minimalist, high-quality parts. The exhausts have also been redesigned, with a bespoke half-line matched to 2 LeoVince silencers, with baffles, for a sound that's present but not exaggerated (the origins will be supplied with the bike).
