Description
I purchased this 1977 BMW R60/ 7 in June 2020 as a lock-down project. Having ridden modern BMW for several years I've always liked the idea of restoring a classic. My plan was to replace with OEM wherever required/ possible to maintain authenticity. All parts were sourced from local OEM supplier Motobins.

Brake overhaul with new pads
New tank and existing fenders re-spayed from black to original orange with pinstripes
New battery and top plate
Boyer electronic ignition
New centre stand

Things to note:
After restoration, the bike has been dry stored with a trickle charger, with the float bowls drained. Due to lack of time, it no longer receives the attention it deserves. The seat has a tear and may benefit from re-covering.
This isn’t a show-quality bike and is priced accordingly. Given the significant investment already made, the new owner can expect an honest and reliable classic to enjoy. However, I am realistic and will entertain sensible offers. Link to 24 Motobins Invoices available upon request.
