Description
I bought this car in 2018 to take part in Club Triumph’s Round Britain Reliability Run, 2000 miles in 48 hours non-stop, which it completed in 2021 and 2023.
The car was resprayed in 2018 and had the stripes added shortly after. If you don’t like the stripes, they can be removed in half an hour with a heat gun but they do make the car stand out and turn heads.
In order to make the car more reliable and comfortable, the car benefits from overdrive, which operates instantaneously, an oil cooler to protect the big end bearings, a brake servo to make braking less of an effort, LED headlights and tail lights, electronic ignition, a thermostatically controlled electric fan, an electric fuel pump and electric windscreen washers.
The car comes complete with minilight style wheels including the spare wheel.
A canvas hood is fitted to car and has no tears or damage.
The interior is in good condition with no damage to the seats and has a Mota-Lita steering wheel fitted.
The car previously had a private registration, which has now been removed and currently has a MOT to 13th June 2025 and is exempt from road tax.
The car is priced to sell as I have another project in mind and a bad knee, which has reduced the amount of time I can actually take the car out and enjoy it.
In it’s current state, it is ready to take part in another Round Britain Reliability Run and has had no end of money thrown at the car to keep it maintained at this level.
The car is ready to be enjoyed this summer with no work required to prevent it being used as it should.
