1979 Chevrolet Corvette C3 Stingray

This is a classic American 1979 Corvette Stingray with a small block Chevy V8 engine which makes approximately 250hp. It's not the fastest car in the world but it sounds and looks incredible.
The car was imported into the UK in 2015 and since then has had a comprehensive history of services and work done. It comes with 68, 000 miles which is quite low considering its age. It has electric windows, cruise control (which I haven't tested), a removable hard top roof, folding seats with spacious storage area, it has cd player and speakers (which I haven't used because I prefer the sound of the engine) and a fabric car cover.
It's recently had a full engine service including HT replacements, rear shock absorber replacements and new timing belts.
I don't want to waste anyone's time so I have tried to be as accurate and transparent as I can with the cars faults because she is an older car who could do with some TLC.
The car runs nice and smoothly. It's a real head turner on the road. I've had no issues whilst driving it. However, I'm looking at buying another car which is the reason for the sale and there are some things that should be addressed as I just don't have the time to fix them.
First of all, as with many older cars, there is a small oil leak under the exhaust, it's difficult to locate where it's coming from. But there hasn't been a drop in oil level in the dipstick.
There's some rust on the exhaust pipes. This existed when I bought it and I have stored the car mainly in a garage since purchasing.
Sometimes the brake sensor becomes loose, causing the brake lights to remain on when you remove your foot. It's a fairly easy fix when it happens.
As you can see on the photos, there is wear and tear on the interior. It never really bothered me, but it could do with some work & reupholstering.
The air conditioning doesn't work. And the blower itself can sometimes be temperamental, It's possible there's a loose connection somewhere.
The windows are slightly loose and can knock when opening and closing the door and the seals look to have sun damage and could do with replacing.
The car is not fuel injected and uses an old fashioned carburettor. So it can take a while to start when cold and it needs to warm up before driving or else the engine will stall. This isn’t a fault with the car, but useful information to know before buying.
On cold days a lot of condensation comes from the exhaust, I was a bit concerned at first so just to be safe I checked with my mechanic and he confirmed it wasn't burning oil and there were no traces of oil residue in the exhaust tip.
And finally there is an electrical problem with the door locking mechanism.
I hope that gives you a good overview of the car. The car was imported in 2015. Since then it has been with 2 owners and has a full history of work completed on it. I bought it because I love its styling and the presence it has on the road. I’ve had an obsession with American cars from childhood and once I heard this thing fire up and the V8 rumble I was hooked. I was hoping I could fix the cosmetic problems it had but I’ve had no time so I’m hoping to trade it in so I can get another, slightly more modern American car that I can use as a daily driver.
