Imported from its previous owner from canada. The chassis is in excellent condition providing the perfect basis for the extensive restoration project. Freshly repainted in Embassy colours, complete interior re trim including seats, re plumbed water and brake pipes, engine rebuilt before my purchase, window and wiper motors rebuilt to original specification along with radiator fan motor. Radiator and heater matrix stripped and rebuilt. Refurbished wheels, new windscreen, led lighting to uk spec, new springs raising ride to European standard, stainless exhaust, new servo system, rebuilt carburettors, professionally re wired, Lotus Europa Twin Cam. 1972. Imported from Canada this car was purchased with the engine and gearbox rebuilt. The chassis was completely stripped down with new metal brake hoses fitted. The chassis mounted water pipes look new. The lighting has been updated to include LED brake side and indicator lights at the rear. The wiring has been professionally installed. The radiator has been flushed and pressure tested. The electric window motors and the wiper motor have been completely re furbished. A new thermostatic radiator fan has been fitted. The car has been fitted with a master cut out and fuel pump isolator switch. The engine has an electric fuel pump and filter king with a non return valve fitted. The twin carbs have been stripped and serviced. New air filters. New distributor with pointless ignition. The interior has been completely re trimmed including the seats, headlining and door trims. The car has been painted (body off) in Embassy colours red with white lower, a new front spoiler fitted. Wheels (5) have been refurbished. New front windscreen fitted, the original will be supplied with slight de lamination showing. Front caliper’s overhauled rear drums with new pistons, new pads and shoes fitted. New servo. New exhaust box. New windscreen pump and bag. Both fuel tanks removed, professionally blasted and protected with fuel resistant coating, new balance fuel piping. Steering rack new. Due to injury i am now unable to complete the car. The following short job list below are all thats outstanding, as far as i know!
Choke and heater controls require fitting to the transmission tunnel.
Centre consul needs fitting.
Both seats need bolting in
R/ H door lock needs adjusting.
Throttle and clutch cables need adjusting
The brakes need bleeding through
The car has been on a dyno. I can’t find the sheet at the moment but the figure was very acceptable according to the technician.
