Description

Vehicle in the possession of the current owner for 30 years, always very well maintained and adequately serviced by the brand's specialist mechanics. Vehicle is Inca Yellow in colour, which underwent a repaint shortly after purchase, and to this day still has an intense shine, despite having a few corrections to make. At the same time as the paint work, the black mohair canvas soft top was also placed, purchased new and original from a renowned British company specialising in Triumph branded parts, currently showing no major signs of wear and is completely watertight having only a very small cut in the mica glass of the left bonnet window.
In 2018 the mechanicals were completely redone, with new and original parts purchased from the same supplier as the soft top, having solved some chronic problems with this Triumph-origin 3. 0 cc V8 mechanical, with 145 hp, which tended to overheat and have some oil leaks. Problems completely solved, offering a smooth and trouble-free ride, allowing the driver to enjoy the impressive sound of this engine. Vehicle with less than 40, 000 km, having covered in the hands of the current owner about 10, 000 km in the last 30 years, most of which have been done more recently, and in 2022 a major overhaul was carried out with a change of all fluids and the brake system.
In 2024, 4 new 185/ HR 14 tyres were fitted to the beautiful light alloy wheels of the period. This vehicle is certified as a vehicle of historic interest by a competent Portuguese body recognised by the F. I. V. A. Offered with an additional set of headlights of the period, which were removed from the vehicle after purchaseThis Triumph Stag MK II was the fulfilment of a boy's dream, as the current owner, still a young man, bought the car because when he was growing up there was a Triumph dealership near the house where he lived and he spent part of his days enjoying the in and out of the workshops of these legendary vehicles, particularly the Stag with the sound of that V8 engine that seduced him.
After having thought of a Spitfire, this Stag appeared in this Inca Yellow colour, completely immaculate and with very few kilometres, which made him immediately take the decision to buy it. In 30 years, its use has been residual, despite the careful maintenance carried out and the various mechanical and aesthetic updates made over the years. From day one, this vehicle was presented to Portugal's most reputable body to be certified as a vehicle of historical interest, maintaining this status to this day without ever having undergone any repairs.
