According to the owner that brought the car from Germany it is believed to have been owned by Lieutenant General James M. Gavin of the 82n Airborne Division.
In current ownership for over 20 years. Bought through Wayne Obry Motion Products.
The previous owner brought the car from Germany in 1975 and owned it until the current owner’s purchase.
Raced in SCCA and SVRA US before being retired for leisurely driving.
Original engine was put on pallets before being raced 20 years ago.
Maintained by KTR Racing, Ayers MA up until 2 years ago. Car will be gone through thoroughly before going to the new owner for fresh oil, plugs, etc.
Seats reupholstered. Car repainted (used to be white).
