Description

1956 Tribsa 500 scrambler.

BSA B group frame and running gear, BSA gearbox, Norton clutch, with a Triumph T100 small fin big bearing engine, BTH magneto, Fully road legal (no lights, so daytime only) with V5, MOT and tax exempt. No expense spared restoration about 5 years ago. It had everything done, engine fully rebuilt, gearbox rebuilt, frame, suspension, brakes, wheels rebuilt with stainless spokes, all bearings, all seals, new ally mudguards, stainless bolts everywhere, overhauled BTH magneto. I managed to put a small tear in the new seat which is highly annoying (see photos) but they are available and not too expensive or you could get it recovered.

Since the restoration it’s done about 5500 trouble free miles. It’s not that quick by today’s standards but what it lacks in speed it more than makes up for in character. This is a wonderful little bike for B roads and back lanes, truly a joy to ride. Starts easily, handles great and gets lots of attention wherever you go.
