Description
MGB GT EZ 1980 Colour: inca yellow Approx. 90, 000 miles, approx. 144, 000 km Exceptionally beautiful MGB GT, imported by us from England in 2011, type-approved in Austria as a historic motor vehicle and registered here throughout.
Comprehensively restored to a high standard by the previous owner, perfected by us in recent years, over 1, 000 photos available of the work - Original Rostyle steel rims, restored - All chassis components, front axle, rear axle, etc. derusted, primed, painted - Conversion to Spax shock absorbers front (!) and rear - Conversion to Polybushes - Brake system extensively refurbished - K&N air filter in original housings - Stainless steel exhaust system - New battery - Just serviced, current licence plate just done - Only the best available spare parts used - Drives extremely well, very reliable, the optional overdrive works perfectly, of course. In Inca Yellow with the original Rostyle rims and the black interior, the rubber boat looks damn good.
Many rubber bumpers were subsequently converted to chrome models, but thankfully this one wasn't. If you look at MG history, you will know that the rubber bumpers, which were very unpopular at the beginning, did really well at the end of 1980 thanks to ongoing improvements, especially the "home market" models.
Incidentally, our MG has been featured several times in classic car magazines, including the British Classic and Sports Cars, and we are happy to provide you with the magazines, as well as various instructions, workshop manuals, spare parts catalogues, brochures, etc. Viewing and test drives are possible by appointment, weather permitting.
