Chassis number: 70591293 - manufactured during 1947, this Windsor Club Coupe Model C38 was first registered in the UK on the 4th August 1999 after being imported from Massachusetts. It has remained in the hands of the vendor and current owner for over 10 years. The Chrysler Windsor range was launched during 1939 and positioned above the entry level Royal model, production was halted in January 1942 when all automobile companies in the USA switched to war production. After the war, the Windsor was put back into production, similar to the 1942 models, but included a handbrake warning signal that warned that the handbrake was not fully released, a new grille, and full instrumentation.
