Peugeot 205 T16 EVO by Dimma UK
Offered before you is true 'one of one' phenomenally quick rally car, you’ll need no introduction to the legendary T16’s that destroyed the completion in the 1980’s in the group B category.
This car is based upon a Mitsubishi evo lightweight RS shell built by MSD (motor sport developments) in Milton Keynes in 2002 for mark Higgins. The car was professionally built from the ground up from new as a rally car and log booked for group N
In 2002 when the car was being built it was fitted with the then modern evo 8 engine within the lightweight motorsport RS evo6 shell, this would have been a six figure build
The car was then bought by Terry Pankhurst of DIMMA UK; a well respected name in the game for both rally driving and for the Dimma parts in the UK, The idea was to faithfully create a fun and fast rally car that has the menacing prowess of the 205 T16 whilst maintaining the reliable, robust and extremely capable mechanicals of the EVO.
The car was fitted with custom Kevlar body panels made by Dimma and fixed upon the lightweight shell, The car has full FIA roll cage and is of course completely seam welded.
· The engine is that of an EVO8 with motorsport ‘gems’ ecu and loom, fitted with an uprated evo9 turbo and produces 400BHP and 400ft Lb and has the anti-lag function,
· The gearbox is a fresh Collotti dog box with sequential shift and a LED gear display.
· The suspension has adjustable coilover dampers ‘jumbo proflex’ with remote canisters
· RS front and rear differentials with fairly recent clutch
· Full Kevlar underbody pans, fuel tank protection and interior footpanels
· Upright hydraulic handbrake as well as original road cable handbrake
· Weighs a very respectable 1180kg
· Full plumbed in extinguisher and battery switch, recaro seats and 6 point harnesses
· Sliding lexan windows
· Comes with 10x 18” rota wheels and 6x compomotve 17”TH2 wheels
· Fully rod legal, with MOT and comes with T16 registration plate

Driving the car is a joy, the handling is predictable, smooth and it will drift beautifully if that's your style. It’s very quick! From our on board video, we can see that it equaled the fastest time set by the current WRC cars on this year’s Rally GB Cholmondeley special stage!
its also proved to be incredibly reliable over the three seasons that it has run in. It’s had good maintenance, does not use any water or oil on events, runs on pump fuel and all parts are readily available ( reasonably cheap ) so it’s very affordable to run. It starts on the key every time and is ready to go and have fun.
the car been used on "Legends" type events in the UK, I. O. M. and Spain. Has had a number of invites for similar events next year. Recently it appeared at the 2016 RallyDay, was driven by Terry Kaby and the inside of the roof signed by multiple World Rally Champion Juha Kankkunen.
