This 1977 Aston Martin was purchased by the current owner in 2008, stripped to be prepared as a track car. The chassis has been fully strengthened and wax oyl treated, body completely reworked to remove all corrosion.
T45 10m-point roll cage, welded in (Now removed, but still with car). Engine stripped sleeves removed; crack tested, standard crank journals. Heads machined gas flowed and polished, Piper cams to race spec, Vantage manifolds. Cosworth 580X pistons, all new chains and gaskets AND Vantage 48s Carburetors machined to 50 spec.
LO6 Gearbox supplied by Rouse with back plate to fit engine, also spare gearbox. Nimrod spec exhausts manifolds with stainless collectors.
Quaife ATB diff with a 3. 54 ratio.
Alloy 100 litres fuel tank foam filled.
Fully driveshaft’s with special six bolt hubs and race half shafts ENZ4 heat treated.
Front brakes AP 335mm floating disc with AP 4 pot calipers.
Kevlar high back seat. Finished in undercoat.
Over £50, 000 spent to date in parts, comes with all original trim, parts wheels etc.
The car just needs fitting up .
