I will not make any claims on this vehicle save to say I wish I could keep it!
What are left of these models seem to be 180's and 200's
This is the revised V6 2. 8 super smooth engine with the uprated Sport option and Auto gbox.
The spec is unusual in having full leather electric memory seats.
The colour is Alexandra metallic green which probably sounds better in German! Unmarked soft grey leather and door cards. The interior is spotless and defies the 145k mls travelled. Lovely leather sport wheel and those unusual cream instruments.
There is an unmarked set of manuals and service schedule up to 93k mls by main Mercedes franchise dealers, every MOT since 2003, ashtray never used and all equipment except possibly the aircon, fully working. Excellent Sony CD/ TUNER with auxilliary function. Green sundym glass all round. Even the overmats are in top condition.
The engine is whisper quiet with no mechanical issues, leaks or knocks and provides excellent performance.
Has had recent new wishbones, ball joints, front pads and oil plus plugs. I do not however have the bills for these but the lablels are on the wishbones still! The last owner being a mechanic.
Car as shown has the AMG type wheels which are badly corroded so car will be available with totally refurbed/ diamond cut CLK sport wheels 7J x 17 with nearly new tyres purchased about 6 months ago ( 600mls )
There is a sophisticated working alarm system fitted.
There is some work to do on the paintwork which still shines but has some scratches but no dings and rust on one front wing in one area and the rear fillets at the back are rusted but easily replaced. The corrosion could easily be repaired by a DIY. 8 months MOT with previous confirming mileage.
She is a lovely "old girl" having been well looked after for and crying out for some use. I hope the price reflects good value.
