Interior:
Not bad but could do with a good clean and tidying up a bit, the rear quarter window has being taped shut because it wasn't shutting properly and needs new runners. Mini Mayfair seats.
Exterior:
A few scratches, some paint peeling off around the edges, some dings mainly on the n/ s door, there is a small hole just under the n/ s headlight and some surface rust appearing near the o/ s headlight. Surprisingly the A panels, scuttle panel and roof all good. Needs o/ s sill. Rear doors really good which is rare! Subframes good. To be honest not a lot of work to be done to make into a nice car again and you can always expect to find a bit of rust here and there on an old Mini. Nice halogen headlights and a nice stainless exhaust. Bonnet jammed shut and cant open i think the catch is broke. Respray would be nice but perfectly usable as it is for now but would need a o/ s sill for next MOT.
Reason For Sale:
Just bought the car for myself to run my toddler around in everyday but have since been told by my local mini specialists that in a clubman estate with folding rear seats it would not be suitable for fitment of inertia rear seat belts or fitment of a child seat so have decided to sell it because of this. The log book has just been sent off to dvla, should be back with me sometime next week but if you buy the car you can have the green slip part of the logbook and i will give you a receipt. Very sad sale as i wanted to keep the car because i love the shape of the little clubman estate, I would have liked to do it up a little and give it a full respray to make it really nice. No timewasters please as im in two minds whether to sell it or keep it and restore it slowly over time as these Clubman Estates are getting harder to find all the time !
