Registered new in 1967 this well presented Ford Mustang convertible is an original V8, automatic example which was built in the San Jose, California Plant. Presented in its original colour combination of Burnt Amber paintwork over a Saddle Vinyl interior it was originally specified with a white power hood and power steering, which it retains today. Owned by a Mr John Robert Beck of Los Altos, California, for many years the Mustang was later restored between 2010 and 2014 and imported and first registered in the UK on 1st September 2014. Purchased by a collector here in the UK the Mustang was dry stored and used regularly in the summer months before being acquired by the current owner in 2022 at which time it was treated to a full body respray and full mechanical inspection. Maintained and dry stored throughout the current vendors ownership the Mustang presents very well indeed. The paintwork retains a deep shine, and the interior is in good order, although there are some signs of age notably to the seats and convertible hood. In very good driving condition, the Mustang runs as it should and has been enjoyed on many road trips to events such as the Le Mans Classic and Goodwood. Maintained regardless of cost the Mustang has recently been serviced and tuned and will be offered with a new Mot. This is a very usable example in its original colour combination and specification, the hood even retracts within 10 seconds – impressive for a car of its age! We are sure it will bring huge amounts of fun to the new owner, and it always attracts lots of attention wherever it goes! Having covered 70, 296 miles this example is offered with its UK registration document, various sundry bills, old US ownership documents and a 1967 Mustang maintenance booklet. Ready to use and enjoy immediately this example is not to be missed.
