This absolutely stunning example has been with just one owner in the UK since it was imported in 2011 from Atlanta Georgia, with all relevant import paperwork and receipts etc in the history file. Landed cost into the UK at the time was approx £33000. It's a beautifully restored example. Restored in the U. S where every nut , bolt and washer can be easily obtained . Fitted with the Powerglide automatic transmission which are pretty much bullet proof , optional factory fit power steering, superb servo assisted brakes which are an upgrade from standard and stop the car on a sixpence. It comes with some useful spares and both a replica brochure, accessory leaflet and some period advertisements and a workshop manual. A restoration to this standard today would cost a small fortune today. The paintwork is excellent and it really standards out with its original 2 tone colour scheme . There are very minor small imperfections as not a recent restoration but the car would stand proud at any show and indeed has won a few. Some interesting features include: As it is the much sought after 2 door pillar less coupe it has the over door stainless wind deflectors and the flip out stainless trim that pops whenever the doors are opened to prevent any water falling on driver or passenger. The front bumper set up is something I have never seen, though it was a cost extra. It has the built in extra “over rider” section , which really adds to the look.
The interior speaks for itself. All in perfect order and just a perfect , comfortable place to be . It does have a couple extras. The tissue holder , the American traffic light viewer and a modern JVC stereo hidden in the glovebox.
On the road she drives as you would expect from a true fifties cruiser. With the rare factory option of power steering it is effortless to drive. The car burbles beautifully on tick over and on the open road the exhaust note is perfect thru its slightly bigger than standard bore dual exhaust . Engine and engine bay are detailed the show standard with the emphasis on originality. Period Delco Remy parts are easy to spot showing attention to detail . To Summarise a much sort after model with Tri Chevy circles, in a superb factory colour scheme in superb condition. Excellent drivability with very cheap and abundant parts availability .
