First registered February 1977 this 1500 HL model is presented in fantastic condition with just 66, 000 miles, a large history file and although MOT exempt it is currently MOT’d to November 2025.
The history file includes an amazing 20 main dealer service stamps, and numerous MOT certificates along with a file of receipts for servicing and maintenance.
The car is in Northern Ireland and comes with a standard UK V5 registration document. It can be used anywhere in the UK without reregistering or incurring any import duties. Delivery to most mainland UK postcodes averages £400.
The exterior is in outstanding condition, with bodywork that remains impressively straight with only a few imperfections as expected on a car of this age. The paintwork has a deep, even shine, reflecting careful upkeep and minimal wear. All chrome trim, including the bumpers, grille, and window surrounds, is bright and well-preserved.
Panel gaps are consistent, and the doors, bonnet, and boot close securely, just as they should. The wheels are in superb shape, with clean rims and good tyres.

The Triumph Dolomite 1500 HL, introduced in 1976, was a well-equipped mid-range saloon offering a blend of performance and comfort. Powered by a 1, 493cc twin-carburettor engine producing around 71 bhp, it featured rear-wheel drive and a four-speed gearbox with optional overdrive.
With wood-trimmed interiors, chrome detailing, and an upgraded spec, the 1500 HL provided a refined driving experience. Production continued until 1980, when it was replaced by the Triumph Acclaim. Today, it remains a sought-after classic for its charm, practicality, and period elegance.

Please don’t compare her to a modern car, she is 48 years old and built in a different era with different standards. As with any classic car, there will always be jobs to attend to and improvements that can be made.
