Description
The Austin Ten is a small car that was produced by Austin. It was launched on 19 April 1932 and was Austin's best-selling car in the 1930s and continued in production, with upgrades, until 1947.
This example is a unusual 1935 Austin 10/ 4 Colwyn Cabriolet, registered in London on 01/ 01/ 1935.
The car starts and runs very nicely, there is no frost damage and it is fitted with a new 12V battery.
It’s probably the best driving 10/ 4 we have driven to date, the brakes and steering are in good order and the car handles very well.
The car is an older restoration so the paint work isn’t immaculate, but it does present well and hood is in good working order.
The interior is original and very much like the outside of the car has plenty of patina.
The car has been used a number of times for TV and film work and a quick Google search of the registration demonstrates that.
The V5 is present.
