Only 25, 882 miles and an engine rebuild by TVR experts TrackVRoad at 25, 200 miles this car is just in the final stages of running in.
The chassis is good as a very low milage car with just a few of the common areas showing powder coat loss.
The car was originally green and had a full respray a number of years ago to the Pearl White which is stunning. There are age related chips with overall condition generally good.
The last owner purchased the car in January 2004 and its been on and off the road over the years, hence the low miles. In the last few years its had many elements of recommissioning including the engine rebuild along with lots of ancillaries like brakes and pads.
The last MOT was in November 2024 which it passed with no advisories.
We are happy to provide our warranty on the car although there is a list of works that any new owner will need to address. This has been reflected in the price we are advertising the car for.
This is a great project for someone with basic mechanical skills and we are happy to discuss doing some of the works separately to purchase if required.
Here are the works we recommend:
• Gear stick and handbrake gaitors torn - repair
• Dash display poor (no backlight) – needs replacing
• Door rubbers to short - replace
• NSF wheel curbed and buckled – need replacing ideally
• Heater fault – switches off after 5min. – refurbish control unit.
• Center caps missing - replace
• Wiper blades split - replace
• Fog light on separate switch to dash - repair
• Passenger window fault, not dropping.
• Various small marks on paintwork - note
• Washers poor - repair
• Steering stiff car will not easily self center – investigate suspect rack needs refurbishment or ball joints.
• Rattling roof and windows – rubbers and adjustment.
• Indicators not cancelling - repair
• Front and rear tyres worn on inner edges - note
• Suspect gearbox mounts – investigate and replace if needed
• Fuel pump connections corroded – clean up
• Cooler pipe to block porous - replace pipe
• Front heater pipe insecure - refix
• Elements of 12k service (excluding engine) needed
With all the above completed this will easily be a £26 -27k car. If not sold as is, the car will be worked on by ourselves in spring and readvertised.
The car comes with a 6-month Amore warranty (can be extended up to 2 years.)
