Supplied new to Shepherd Neame Ltd, a large Kent brewery, for one of their executives, this lovely old Volvo covered 90, 000 miles in its first three years before being sold to a friend of the keeper who kept it until his passing. The mileage today is 125, 000.
We have fettled the car after a period of little use with a service, a new timing belt and water pump, tyres, brakes, and some suspension bushes. A new battery also went in.
The Volvo is Mot'd until December 2025.
A 3. 0 litre petrol engine is fitted which is lovely and smooth and , with the automatic gearbox, make the V90 a relaxing and very comfortable car to use. The turning circle is excellent and car is not large compared to modern machines, but seems enomous inside!
There are a few flesh wounds around the bodywork, the interior is very good and there seems to be none of the usual rust that can plague these cars.
