Description
This is a car with an incredible history. This is in fact the car that Massimo Sigala used in the European one-make championship dedicated to the Renault 5 Turbo Maxi in 1984, bringing it to success in the Zandvoort race.
The car was bought in 1984 by Sigala and prepared for the 1984 championship; later, after the end of the racing activity, it was withdrawn from Garage Ambrosiano, converted to road use, registered and given to the Sigala family: it remained there until 1991, when it was bought by the second owner who kept it until 2008, when the current owner took possession of it.
The car was originally fitted out for the track in Momo red and later Momo Design black livery; once its racing career was over and it was converted for road use, it was fitted with the original grey-black fabric interior and painted dark grey. It is currently in very good condition, both mechanically and aesthetically.
Photographic documentation of the car's participation in races is present and can be viewed.
