DESCRIPTION
First being registered on the 23rd August 1996 this stunning examples a fourth generation fitted with the 2. 4ltr diesel L-series engine, With distinctive arch flares which widened the overall body by 40mm. A fine exhibit of one of the best 4x4 models ever made.
EXTERNAL
Finished in a rare Toyota Evergreen Pearl(paint code 751) Original Panels front to rear sit straight and uniform complete with a deep glossy shine throughout having had a full respray some years ago and finished to a very very high standard
The stiking decals down each flank sitting true and straight as Toyota intended. Front chrome grill presents bright along with housing original H4 headlamps, A wrap around Grey Metallic front bumper sitting damage and scuff free along with being in the very best of condition along with the lower valance colour coded in heavy duty Shultz to protect against the elements
With the rear tub being removed during the restoration this enabled the ladder chassis and associated peripherals to be preventatively sealed to ensure longevity of the vehicle, The sills also having heavy duty colour coded Shultz applied ensuring it can handle any adventure off road
With original front and rear Toyota off road mud flaps fitted and tow bar, Rear door opens and closes as intended with the rear bed displaying a shiny glossy finish throughout

Upon opening the drivers or passengers door on this single cab model Hi-Lux attention to detail stands out, With an immaculate grey floor covering front to rear along with black chunky leather front seats entwined with dark green stitching along with matching black leather door cards which all are in impeccable condition-simply amazing
Manual wind up front windows working perfectly complete with door cubby pockets displaying the most elegant of green stitching, Full length black centre console runs between both front seats which houses matching gear lever and 4x4 selection surrounds
The dash presents in the very best of condition with glove box located on the passenger side plus factory fit speaker to the left and directional air vent duct sitting above, Moving to the centre you find a double adjustable heater vent sat high up in the dash and just beneath the heater vent directional distribution and fan speed toggle switches are located working effortlessly, Cursory push button hazard warning light switch sits to the side. Neat digital time clock sitting bright and unique. Sitting neatly centre stage the original factory push button music sound system remains
The iconic Toyota pull out and twist handbrake lever works as intended, A 3 spoke light grey steering wheel remains original along with the wiper stalk on the left of the steering column and the directional indicators/ lights on the right. A large oval binnacle sits in front of the driver with temperature gauge to the left, Speedometer to the centre and fuel gauge to the right. All cursory warning lights work as they should. To the right a square adjustable heater vent and factory fit speaker commemorates the dash.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the 2. 4, 4 cylinder L-series diesel engine producing 113bhp coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox with the optional 4x4 element as required. High and low ratio optional all working as intended and drives very well.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Sitting on immaculate 15 inch 6 spoke alloys shod with chunky BF GOODRICH white outer lettered all terrain tyres. With free wheel hubs fitted to the front axle to be used as required. With caliper disc brake to the front and drums to the rear along with vacuum braking assistance ensuring you are brought to a steady controlled stop.
