Description
At the end of the 1960s, the K5 Blazer was one of the first cars to combine the characteristics of a pure off-road vehicle with those of a luxury car. The concept was also realised at around the same time by competitors such as Ford, Jeep and Land Rover. The Blazer was based on the rather rustic K10 pickup. The car was now upgraded with amenities such as a three-speed automatic transmission, electric windows and air conditioning. In the decades to come, luxury off-roaders were to enjoy exorbitant sales figures.
This Blazer in the Cheyenne version was delivered as a new car in Switzerland. The car in the nostalgic colour combination is largely in authentic original condition. It is the 350 cui version with the 3-speed automatic transmission, permanent all-wheel drive, differential lock and gear reduction. The side exhaust not only provides the right sound for the 5. 7 litre V8 but also has practical uses. It allows you to drive with the rear window lowered and open without exhaust fumes entering the interior. A cool and reliable American truck perfect for cruising. The Chevy comes fresh from the MFK with additional Cragar chrome rims. Trailer coupling registered.
