Description
2013 – Caterham Super Seven “The Prisoner”
Châssis n° SDKRLKANSY0010163
Uk registration title
“A star car with a worldwide reputation”
- Our Caterham is an exact replica of the Seven S2 seen in the British series ‘The Prisoner’, the first episodes of which were broadcast in the UK in 1967. The Seven, registered KAR120C, which appeared in the credits and the first episode, brought Lotus and its Seven international fame.
- Identical in every respect, it had the same two-tone livery, red upholstery, sheet metal wheels with chrome hubcaps, a spare wheel and grilles on the front headlights. Even its ‘AR12 KAR’ registration is a nod to the series.
- Registered in the UK in 2013, this example is a Super Seven sold as a kit and assembled by its first owner. It can be traced back to France in the early 2020s, when it was owned by actor Arsène Jiroyan.
- With just 798 miles on the clock, it is in superb condition. It is powered by a Kent Crossflow 1600 engine with 2 Weber 40 carburettors and a 5-speed manual gearbox.
- Like a nod to Patrick McGoohan, our Caterham can become the instrument of your escape, and there's no doubt that it will make you forget the worries of everyday life on every getaway.
