In stock at RFH Classics is this beautifully presented 1971 (J) MGB 1. 8 Roadster, finished in iconic British Racing Green with complementary Black trim. With only two former owners, this MGB has been well-maintained and was originally supplied by us to its previous owner three years ago, before recently returning to our showroom. The car underwent an extensive restoration some years ago, and while not concours, it remains a highly usable and attractive example. The British Racing Green paint has aged gracefully, retaining a lovely finish, while the wire wheels and brightwork are still in excellent condition. Additionally, we have just fitted a new vinyl roof, enhancing both its appearance and practicality.
Under the bonnet lies a 1798cc 4-cylinder lead-free engine, which shows excellent oil pressure both cold and hot. Paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox featuring overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears, this MGB offers an engaging driving experience. Recently, the car has been through our workshop for a full service and MOT, during which we replaced the water pump and installed a new fuel pump. This ensures the car is ready for immediate enjoyment.
