The Ferrari F355 is a mid-engine sports car produced by Ferrari between 1994 and 1999. It was designed by Pininfarina's Maurizio Corbi and is a heavily updated version of the Ferrari 348, offering improved performance, handling, and drivability. Powered by a 3. 5-liter V8 engine with a five-valve-per-cylinder configuration, the F355 generates 380 horsepower and can reach a top speed of 183 mph. The F355 was available in various body styles, including the Berlinetta, Spider, and GTS, with both manual and F1 automated manual transmissions, and was succeeded by the Ferrari 360 in 1999.
Exterior: The Pininfarina design of the Ferrari F355 is stunning and regarded by many as one of the finest Ferrari designs. Its sleek side air intakes, wide rear fenders, and '90s pop-up headlights create a design that is now considered iconic. The exterior of this Ferrari F355 Spider is painted in the unique color Nero Carbonio. This is not a plain black but a gorgeous color with lots of metallic in it, almost appearing grey under sunlight. The car has been repainted due to normal wear, and the paint today is in very good condition. When measured, the paint is even throughout the body, indicating that no filler was used to hide any prior damage. The front end shows a few stone chips, but nothing out of the ordinary. The car sits on its original 18” wheels with excellent Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. It also features a black half-electric soft top in good condition and a black leather soft top cover, also in good condition.
Interior: The interior of this Ferrari F355 Spider is finished in black leather, complementing the exterior to complete the sought-after “triple black” specification – black exterior, black interior, and black soft top. The interior is in excellent condition. The leather upholstery and seats are undamaged and feel soft and supple. The common issue of "sticky buttons" on Italian cars from this era has been fully resolved. The seats are comfortable, and with an adjustable steering wheel, the cabin accommodates individuals of various sizes. The front trunk provides ample space for your necessary belongings.
Engine and Mechanics: Driving is where the Ferrari F355 6-speed gated manual truly shines. It features an absolutely brilliant 3. 5-liter V8 (F129) with five valves per cylinder, producing 380 hp. The exhaust note as the engine approaches 8, 000 rpm is breathtaking. Paired with a smooth 6-speed gated manual transmission, it makes for an outstanding driving experience. The steering is light yet connected, and the engine offers a good amount of power without being overwhelming. The car is fitted with a high-quality aftermarket exhaust system from Xhaust, but the original exhaust system is also included. Mechanically, the car has been very well maintained, with servicing performed according to Ferrari’s recommended intervals. The car will be delivered with a fresh service and timing belt change from an authorized Ferrari dealer.
History and Documentation: This Ferrari F355 Spider was originally sold in Düsseldorf, Germany, in 1997. It did not stay there long, as it was exported to Sweden in 2003, where it has been with the same owner ever since. Under this ownership, the car has received excellent maintenance from the same authorized Ferrari dealer. The car has covered a total of approximately 88, 000 km. It comes with all of its original books, including a well-stamped service book, extensive documentation such as service records and MOT papers, the original Ferrari car cover, and the complete original Ferrari toolkit.
