Description
Saab 99L 2 door finished in white with green cloth upholstery.
Recently recommissioned following a long period of storage at a cost of nearly £1500, the Saab now starts on the key and runs well.
The photos flatter the paintwork - bird droppings have reacted with the paint although this doesn't detract from what is a great looking classic. Chromework is good and it looks like the wheels have recently been refurbished. The tyres are cracking with age although there is plenty of tread.
The interior is in better condition - the rear seat back has recently been recovered. The headlining is missing.
The Triumph derived 1850cc engine sounds healthy and provides peppy performance with a raspy exhaust note.
Only 72k miles showing which looks correct given the incredibly solid condition of the car.
3 previous owners and HPi clear.
Overall a rare Saab to use and improve over time.
MOT and tax exempt. Ideal as a base for a historic rally car.
