This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Sale at Silverstone Festival 2024 - Collectors' Car Sale on Saturday the 24th of August, The Wing, Silverstone Circuit, NN12 8TN. The eighth generation of Mitsubishi's legendary Lancer, the Evolution VIII, appeared in 2003, this time sporting 17" grey Enkei alloys, Brembo brakes, Bilstein shocks and a 5-speed manual gearbox. The UK was offered a plethora of variants (260, FQ300, FQ320, FQ340, and FQ400) with the number relating to the manufacturers stated bhp.
This smart 260bhp Evo VIII (#1172) was purchased new by our vendor and first registered on 13th March 2006. It's finished in Labrador Black with a black and blue interior and was optioned from new with electric windows and a Kenwood Stereo/ CD player. The current indicated mileage is 55, 000 and there are eight stamps in the service record. Recent attention includes the nearside and offside rear suspension arm mounting/ chassis replaced and the alloys have been refurbished.
It's fitted with central locking/ immobiliser (Elite 4 security system) and is supplied with the original space saver spare, jack and toolkit, both keys and the current MOT which is valid until July 2025 issued with no advisories.
Described as 'unmodified' by our vendor, who confirms that between 2016 and 2019, it was driven occasionally and securely stored and maintained by a classic car specialist and since 2019 it's been stored at home in her garage and rarely driven.
