Description
Limited individual model in collector's condition. 5000 of these models were produced between 1989 and 1991 at the Volkswagen factory in Brussels. Instantly recognisable from the outside by its wide fenders and unique headlights. With its widened body, 1. 8 litre (1763cc) in-line 4-cylinder engine, mechanically driven G-volute supercharger (G60) and all-wheel drive (Syncro), the car served as a rally homologation model. You can't get a direct, dynamic, sporty hot hatch like this today.
The new price at that time (without optional equipment) was 46 000 Deutschmarks. This meant that the price was about 10 000 Marks higher than a normal GTI.
The car is in very well preserved, partially restored, original condition. As you can see in the pictures, there is no rust.
Sit in a street rally car and enjoy driving wherever you are going!
A similar condition example on international sites starts at 70, 000 Euros.
