Description

The NSU TT was born as a racing variant of the popular NSU Prinz Motorenwerke, unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1965 to counter the Abarth OT 1000, Simca Abarth and Renault Gordini sisters. With an engine capable of over 100 horsepower/ litre, it often won the class in the 1970s on the legendary Nurgburgring and Spa circuits, as well as winning the 1971 Tour de France with Poyaud/ Laforge.

The Prinz 1000 TT was based on the same chassis and floorpan as the standard Prinz 1000, but differed substantially in the engine, which was increased to 1177 cm³ and in the more powerful versions exceeded 110 horsepower. The car we offer here is a 1971 NSU Prinz TT in excellent condition, prepared many years ago to compete in area rallies in northern Italy. Equipped with roll bars, Sparco seats and belts. Trim and sump guard. Complete with the original booklet of the time, black plates and ACI Regularity Fiche, it is ready for use and a candidate for the most important sporting events such as the Rallye Montecarlo Historique and the Tour de France Auto.
