On behalf of a close friend of ours in Austin, Texas, we are offering for sale this extremely rare and meticulously maintained ($32k spent) 1997 Land Rover Discovery XD.
It is 1 of only 250 built by Land Rover Special Vehicles for the North American market.
It has been owned by our friend for 5 years, and prior to his purchase, it was owned by a friend of his for 9 years.
This Special Vehicles built example has a 4. 0 injected V8 and an automatic transmission. It is adventure ready.
The gearbox has been rebuilt, and amongst much other work, the V8 has had the head gasket replaced. Over $32, 000 of invoices are on file in the current ownership.
