Description
After the introduction of the new Jaguar Mark V Limousins, the sensation was presented at the end of 1948: The Jaguar XK 120. The figure 120 signalled the top speed of 120 miles or 193 km/ h. And that in 1948! The further development is the Jaguar XK 140, which means even more power, more space in the interior and not quite as puristic as its predecessor. The SE (Special Equipment) version had even more power.
Our Jaguar XK 140 SE Convertible corresponds to this version. Delivered in New York, the sports car was first registered in Florida and later in Minneapolis. Via Rotterdam, the classic car came to Munich/ Germany in 2007. Here, a total restoration was carried out, documented by pictures and invoices. A Getrag gearbox and front disc brakes were installed. Since then it has been in one hand and only run a few kilometres. This Jaguar XK 140 SE Convertible has been restored without regard to cost. Check the quality.
