Description
A superb example of a genuine UK right hand drive, CP-code chassis Triumph TR6. This car was previously supplied by us in 2021 and is now back in stock.
This 1971 TR6, finished in Damson with a black interior, was subject to a body-off restoration in previous years and has also had a number of performance upgrades carried out by TR enterprises of Nottinghamshire.
The rubber suspension bushes have been replaced with polyurethane and with a set of front and rear Koni adjustable telescopic lever arm dampers, the ride has been significantly improved.
The engine has also been upgraded with a mild cam and gas flowed head with a bottom end which was lightened and balanced. In addition with a Phoenix tubular manifold and refreshed triple Weber 40DCOE, the car produced 168BHP on the rolling road (print out included).
The gearbox has been completely rebuilt along with the correct A type overdrive on second, third and fourth. The car also benefits from a rebuilt “Gripper” limited slip differential allowing its upgraded power to be transferred to the road.
There is a vast amount of paperwork to accompany the car including a £20, 000 invoice from TR enterprises and many other documents dating back to the late 80s.
All TR’s sold by us will be supplied with a 12-month MOT, a 6, 000-mile service carried out by TR Enterprises and 12 months FREE membership to the TR Register.
