If you're looking something a bit different and want to stand out at the campsite then this could very well be just the Bus for you.
Based on a bare T4 chassis, this conversion provides a really decent seating/ sleeping area to comfortably sleep 2 adults and a child. The floor lowers to the ground using hydraulics so would make this a great vehicle to carry a motorbike or could be put to good commercial use as a mobile coffee shop for festivals etc with somewhere to sleep at night time.
We've had the conversion carried out by a professional camper converter who have fully ply lined and insulated the interior walls and ceiling. 12v LED lights have been fitted to the roof and a new skylight fitted for natural light and ventilation. A totally bespoke foldout bed can be created from the L shaped seating with the extremely comfortable memory foam mattress covered in black vinyl - this provides a full width bed of massive proportions. VanX curtains have been fitted across all windows for privacy at night time.
We've also had fitted an awesome rear view camera which has a HD screen located in the same place as your standard windscreen mounted rear view mirror - this camera can be pointed to help with parking or as a digital rear view mirror (whichever you prefer) and has a neat LED downlight which provides illumination for the rear door area at night.
Mechanically the T4 has just been MOT'd and last week we've changed the cambelt and waterpump to give the new owner total peace of mind. The engine pulls strong as is very comfortable sitting at motorway speeds.
There is a folder of various bills and invoices displaying its service history which will come with the vehicle.
All in all this is a great looking and interesting alternative to the 'run of the mill' campers currently out there and it always creates plenty of discussion when people see it.
