EXTERIOR
Finished in a lustrous coat of Royal Silver Metallic, the body of this low mileage UK-supplied Impreza is free from any corrosion or unsightly blemishes, the paint retaining a deep shine across every panel. The car presents in excellent unmodified condition throughout with only a handful of light stone chips at the front end as evidence of its 26k miles. There are no scrapes to either of the bumpers, it’s arrow-straight along both sides, and all the black trims remain looking fresh with no sun damage or fading to report. The headlights are also crystal clear and without any cracks or moisture ingress having always been protected by a set of genuine Subaru headlamp covers. At the rear of the car both the original exhaust and supplying-dealer window sticker remain in place.
INTERIOR
The interior is also in remarkable condition with no notable wear to the seat bolsters or centre panels. Not only does this example boast the rare leather option, but also air conditioning, which in this case remains ice-cold. On closer inspection the dash and centre console look like new and pleasingly the original Subaru cassette player remains fitted having never been replaced with an aftermarket head unit. Other commonly worn items such as the steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake lever are all perfectly presented with an excellent textured feel to the leather. The carpets are also pristine and are still protected in the footwells by original Turbo 2000 overmats. Everything works as it should and the boot area is also really tidy with no stains to the carpet.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Barely run-in with only 26k miles under its belt the Impreza feels as tight as a drum to drive, and even with such low mileage the accompanying service booklet is stamped 13 times. The last service was carried out in December 2021 at 26, 046 miles and included a timing belt change. Lifting the bonnet the engine bay is very well presented, not overly dressed but in excellent original condition with no signs of any modifications, accident damage or previous poor repair.
WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
The factory 16-inch Subaru alloy wheels present very well with only a few very small age-related blemishes to note on close inspection. They are wrapped in a matching set of Yokohama tyres that have seen only minimal use since fitment in January 2022. The brakes have also been checked and remain in fine operational condition, bringing the car to a stop quickly and in a straight line.
HISTORY FILE
This super low mileage example in attractive Royal Silver was first registered in March 2000. It was originally supplied by Beechdale Garage Subaru in Derby and has now driven just 26k miles in the hands of only 3 registered keepers. Within the History File the lucky new owner will be presented with the original Subaru document pouch and all owner’s manuals, the stamped service booklet, and a raft of invoices dating back to the year 2000. The service book is stamped at the following mileages: 885 – 1, 406 – 1, 915 – 2, 305 – 2, 863 – 3, 191 – 12, 679 – 18, 868 – 21, 871 – 23, 366 – 25, 045 – 25, 406 – and most recently at 26, 046 miles in December 2021 when the timing belt was also replaced.
