For sale is our wonderful Mercedes Benz 420SL we purchased back in 2017 from the well renowned SL Shop.
We used her at the weekends and for a road trip we took down to the Black Forest in Germany and have done around 4500 faultless miles.
She has recently returned from a full service and a bit of pampering courtesy of the SL Shop including new brake callipers and pipes.
If you are reading this advert then you probably already know how good these cars are! The V8 is super smooth and was really ahead of its time back in 1987 with a 0-60mph around 7 seconds and a top speed of around 150mph these really are no slouch even by modern standards. The cabin is a lovely place to spend some time behind the wheel and the heated seats are the comfiest I have personally sat in!
She comes with the rest of the MOT until July and all the usual pre 1997 refinements including, Heated leather seats, Electric mirror, Cruise control and Electric windows.
The 420SL is in fact the rarest of the models form the R107 line up with only 2148 made worldwide and so naturally prices are stating to go up. Now is the time to buy! Unfortunately for us another opportunity has presented itself and it is time to let her go to be with her next custodian. A very reluctant sale and she will be be sadly missed.
