HISTORY
One of only 10 HSX's produced by Mamos Garages. The HSX were finished in black with wooden interior trim. I restored this car over 10 years ago with a rust free mint replacement shell which was upgraded to HS spec. Front and rear wheel arches were modified for the group 4 body kit, all have been done to professional standard.
MECHANICAL
The engine has been upgraded to a rebuilt 2. 0 16V red top running on 45 webbers, driving at 240 getrag 5 speed gearbox. All suspension joints have been replaced with quality polybushes. All springs have been replaced with upgraded units to suit the engine change, Koni sport adjustable shocks were fitted, 8x13 genuine minilites with Toyo888 tyres.
INTERIOR
The seats have been retrimmed to match the door cards. Head lining with replaced with correct black headcloth. Carpet is in good condition. All gauges and switches work correctly.
GENERAL
I have driven this Chevette for 7 years and has never let me down. It drives really well for a 40+ year old classic car. The paintwork is in good condition with a few age related stone chips etc.
Overall, the car is a lovely usable classic car and turns head wherever it goes. The car is currently MOT'd to June 2022 and is now historic tax class.
