Not many of these petrol MF35’s about, no worries about frosty morning cold starts and hoping your heater plugs aren’t burnt out, simple 4 cylinder petrol engine, anyone can sort out.
1958 model with correct petrol / TVO serial number on the VIN plate, nice straight tractor and very complete, seems to be very genuine and mostly original with underslung exhaust and the correct narrow 3 rib front wheels, later safety fan guards have been added to the bonnet, there is a tow hook under the back end and PTO cover fitted.
Unused for some time, it will start and run about but needs a good service and a bit of TLC, brakes are good, but the pedal sticks a bit and needs lubricating, you have to toe it back a little bit, steering is good, smooth clutch and all the gears select in both ranges, lift arms are working well with weight on. Has a slight leak from radiator or hose.
Tyres all stay up with no slows or leaks, rears not great, tin work is all ok and rot free, few war wounds and a repair at the bottom of the grill, clock has been changed so unknown hours.
Not currently road registered, we can help out with web links and forms to help the buyer sort it if required.
Affordable 35 with much easier to work on petrol engine, needs a bit of caressing, road registering and will be a very affordable road run or general yard tractor, dare to be different, turn up on something a little unusual.
