I have owned this very special car since 2010. She has been stored properly and kept in an as unmolested state as possible. She runs / drives and stops really well. She has 12 months MOT.
31 years old this year with 6 former keepers. I bought the car from a gent in Wales in 2011. It was sat in a dry wood shed and deserved some comfort and care. The car has been cared for and well maintained. It does NOT have a galvanised chassis. The car is kept in a warm dry garage and only used on dry (salt free) spring and summer days. The interior is great with the original rubber mats. I do have a carpet set but you can't beat the look and feel of the original rubber mats in my opinion. Some of the seat fabric had become worn and this was replaced with the original material by a 2CV specialist. The roof is a couple of years old. It replaced a rather worn one that was not the original. I also ordered 4 new tyres recently as the old ones were getting on a bit.
This car has been well maintained. She starts well and drives really nicely. The engine pulls as strongly as any 2CV and the brakes are firm and stop her in a straight line. She has regular oil changes despite not covering many miles.

In 2011 the then 2CV "Disc Brake" (later 2CV's had disc brakes) Registrar, Roger Purcell (RIP) published an article in 2CVGB the 2CV Club magazine (see photo.) It outlined details of the 5 RHD cars manufactured on 25th July 1990. The last car is in the Conservatoire in Paris. The other 4 were sent to the UK and their registrations are listed including THIS CAR which is the only one on the road.
If you want a well cared and nicely presented 2CV with additional benefit that it is a very special car amongst 2CV's then this could be the car you have been looking for. The last of the breed.
In 2013, I was invited by 2CVGB to display the car at the "Registers Day". As always there was a huge turnout of all things Citroen and it was a great honour to drive the car around the show ring. 10 years ago 2CVGB advised me that the car was worth around £8K and should be insured for that amount due to the fact it is the last of the 2CV's
This 2CV is a great investment that can be used to potter around on your "staycation". Open top motoring at it's absolute best in a special little car that everyone loves and has a story about.
Priced to sell. My garage really is overflowing and something has to go.
