Extremely rare original U. K. registered right hand drive Fiat 500 Giardiniera Estate for restoration.
First registered on 21st April 1967 to its first lady owner in Bridgwater, Somerset then subsequently registered to the second owner at the same address on 22nd February 1973. On 18th February 1974 it changed hands again, this time to a garage in Bridgewater then in the same month it was registered to its forth owner also in Bridgewater. On 15th September 1975 the log book shows another change but this time remaining with the Fourth owner but at a different address.
This information is recorded in the original green log book which comes with the vehicle, which in itself is a very rare and collectible item.
The vehicle then appears to go onto the new style of log book around 1983 as the next log book that I have indicates that a gentleman in Uxbridge acquired the vehicle on 1st November 2002 but from whom I have no record although the log book indicates 4 former keepers since June 1983.
The vehicle was then acquired by a company in Carshalton on 9th January 2010.
Finally the vehicle was purchased by Jaguar Land Rover on 18th July 2014 as part of a large collection and then purchased by ourselves earlier this year.
In addition to the original green log book the history file includes many M. O. T. certificates, the earliest of which is dated 26th June 1985, some tax discs, the original hand books and invoices for work carried out in 1999 and 2006.
The Fiat presents a very rare opportunity to acquire an original U. K. registered R. H. D. example in need of restoration that would allow the new owner to restore the vehicle however they wanted which could be to restore to completely original specification (originally Blue) or perhaps as a promotional vehicle for a business whereby it could be painted in a corporate colour scheme.
Owing to the vehicle being of Historic status it is M. O. T. exempt.
The car starts, runs and drives but will require recommissioning before being able to be driven on the road.
