CMC are pleased to offer this Jaguar E-Type Two-plus-two coupe, right hand drive. Manufactured on the 26th March 1973, this car was finished in white with black interior trim and still holds this configuration today. A 7 owner from new car, originally registered PLA 718L the car went through numerous registration number changes until 1996 when it acquired SCK 672L.
In 1966 Jaguar surfaced their 2+2 E-Types, a version of the car that had first turned heads back in 1961. Due to a growing request from across the pond, the idea was to design and create a car that had all the beauty of the Coupe E-Type but with more practical room for 2 extra passengers and more luggage space. Nine inches was added to the wheelbase, plus a roofline 2 inches higher meant they just about managed to fit two extra seats in the back, albeit for room to fit two small children.
The car you are looking at here is Chassis No. 1S 51769 BW, a car that has been with its current owner since 2000 and has been lovingly used and looked after. Through a lifetime of use, the car sits now in great condition both mechanically and cosmetically. Over the years it has been subject to many upgrades and component changes in order to maintain it excellent order with no expense spared.
