1966/ 1967 Us Spec VW Beetle, crossover
This beetle was built at the end of 1966 but was one of the first unique and one year only 1967 models, that come with one year only features.
This Beetle has 12v electrics, a 1600cc engine, US Spec bumpers and much more specific to the 1967 one year only beetle before the design changed
This car has to been seen to be appreciated and understood. I have a file, I mean a box! full of orginal documents from the order, purchase document, the certificate of build, the shipping/ export document to the US, the beetle has the US original speedometer sticker still in situ.
Totally orginal and I have the whole service, repair and every item replaced history...
Various bits replaced such as seat belts, window winders, engine parts etc but always replaced with genuine Oem stock to keep the orginal and correct type
His name is OTIS and is named after the man that originally bought him. He was a US serviceman that bought the beetle and travalled round europe with his wife before shipping it back to the US. I have maps that they used and all the documents from the trip and services it had during this trip.
BRAN new white wall tyres installed recently for better tracking on the rode and drivibilty.
Engine has the orginal parts as far as I can tell and is working perfectly.
The underneath of the car looks like new, honestly no holes or anything like a normal beetle would have
Interior has no marks, orginal
The car body work is A class and looks like it came out of the factory yesterday.

Basically this car is a very rare model with a very rare history file. It's worth alot of money to the right buyer and this isn't a normal vw beetle, it's a unique historic collectable that loves to drive and boy he does fly...
I'm selling as I just cannot store him anymore and it will break my heart but he needs a nice garage to live in not a lock up facility away from my home like I have him in.
The price reflects this unique piece of history and ridiculous offers will not be entertained and only very serious buyers can see him. I won't sell him for anything less than he is worth.
