Beautiful Westfield XI finished to the highest possible standard with a BMC A-Series engine, bored out to 1, 380cc expertly rebuilt by Don Loughlin Engineering of Kidderminster (the Don of Aldon Automotive) including new Powermax pistons, balanced and lightened along with the crank and flywheel, 246 Kent Cam (nice and tourquey, lovely for fast road use too). Gas flowed head and unleaded valve upgrade, electronic ignition and uprated facet fuel pump, power light battery and alternator, uprated radiator, water pump, cooling fan, exhaust, oil catch tanks. Corner weighted and GEO set up total weight of the car 520kg. Ford type 9 uprated 5 speed gearbox (ratios available if needed), competition half shafts by Peter May, front discs and alloy drums at the rear, trimmed and finished to an impeccable quality, the complete body on this car was painted to the highest possible standard, yellow mini light style wheels with diamond cut and polished rims. Genuine Lotus historic steering wheel. The numerous details and finish on this car needs to be viewed to be appreciated.
Weighing in at less than 520kg this car is an absolute joy to drive, equally as rewarding as any of the higher horse power sevens.
